The trials to the famous sharkisland contest took place this weekend. Settled in the fat waves of Cronulla point, the mini contest had a nice 3-4 ft swell coming trough the point. Present were European Riders Nuno Trovão, Ricardo Faustino, Luis Bajolo, Luis Porquito(photo), Hugo Pinheiro all from Portugal and Amaury Laverhne from France. Unfortunately only Hugo Pinheiro managed to go trough and will be attending the sharkisland contest for the second time in his life. He will be joining Pierre Louis Costes and Yeray Martinez (both wildcards)at the main event. Good luck for all, let's do it!posted by hm # 19.6.06
